Dear Fellow Democrats, What a phenomenal year for the Democratic Party!  Of course, our greatest achievement was the historic election of Barack Obama and Joe Biden to the White House.  But we also won congressional seats in several key states, including our own, with the election of Jim Himes to the 4th District.  Jim is the first Democrat to represent our district in 40 years! We are now a stronger party in the nation, in our state, and even right here in New Canaan.  Let’s keep up this momentum! In order for the NCDTC to continue to work successfully on your behalf, your support is crucial.  We are aware that these are difficult financial times, so your support can come in many ways, including:   
  • making a donation so we can promote candidates, both on a local and national level;
  • hosting a coffee to aid others in learning more about a candidate or current topic;
  • serving on our Democratic Town Committee or a Town Board or Commission;
  • supporting us at our annual BBQ this year, which is on September 13th , so save the date!
  • working at the polls inside or outside
 This year we are asking that you support us in whatever way works best for you. You can visit our website at www.newcanaandems.org to find out what’s going on and let us know your ideas. We are currently compiling an email list to better serve you and our community.  (Our list will not be shared with any other organization and we promise not to send too many emails!)  Please fill out the enclosed postcard and mail it to us or fill it out on line.  To make a donation to the NCDTC, kindly complete and mail the financial form below.  This form is also available on our website.  We greatly appreciate your invaluable support in whatever amount of your time, interest and wallet allows at this time!
